As the developers and operators of the Express Lanes, we are committed to our customers, our community and to providing dependable travel on the Express Lanes. We strive to be good neighbors and long-term partners in the Northern Virginia region.

The Express Lanes Community Grant Program supports organizations that sustain, enhance or protect the local environment and communities surrounding the Express Lanes corridor. To apply for a grant, please complete the online application.

The Emergency Medical Services Bike Team from the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department and the Vienna Volunteer Fire Department were awarded a $10,000 community partnership grant to support their ongoing cooperative operations to provide emergency response to citizens throughout Fairfax County. 

Transurban, the Virginia Department of Transportation’s partner on the 395 Express Lanes project, today announced that the Bright Resilient Youth Committed to Enrichment (BRYCE) and the Washington Regional Alcohol Program (WRAP)’s SoberRide each received a $5,000 grant this quarter through the 395 Express Lanes Community Grant Program.

On March 21, 2015, Drive to Donate raised nearly $80,000, which was donated to local fire and rescue organizations from Fairfax, Stafford, and Prince William counties.
